I teach on-line, hybrid and face to face.  Whatever a student needs, I will try my best to accomodate.  All my experience as a counselor from 1989-2004 with the health sciences has provided me a unique perspective in what students like yourself need, want and are confused about.  I am here to help you discover your strengths and use them in your chosen career.

This was my first counseling job after receiving my Masters in Education.  I did an internship with HCC at the Paul Revere Campus in SW Houston and then when a full-time position became available I applied and got it!  Most rewarding work experience of my life.  I love the diversity of this place!

Masters Degree in Educational Psychology

I went to school part-time and worked full-time to get my Masters.  I did an internship at HCC and loved it.  I did not know that I could be a counselor at a college.  The excitement of meeting so many different people makes every day unique.  Went from counseling to teaching over time and have found teaching very rewarding.

University of Texas at Austin

Went to UT right out of high school.  I am a Spring Wood High School graduate.  Lived in Spring Branch area all my life growing up.  My Dad got his law degree from UT so I always wanted to go there.  My grandparents also lived in Austin so it was a very familiar place to me.  I got my degree in advertising because I was interested in why people bought what they bought.  Always interested in the psychology of choices.
